When I moved to New Zealand in 2005 I began to reduce the amount of "content" in my photos, constructing images simply from the lines, shapes, tones and colours of whatever objects were in the scene before me. The show Ignoring Content was held at Photospace Gallery in Wellington in 2011. My photographs since then have continued to be more and more sparse, less and less concerned with the "what" of the image.
