I've spent the past several years working with conservation architect Chris Cochran on an extensive survey and history of woolsheds in the Wairarapa. These farm/factory buildings have a wide variety of forms, but all designed around the same functions of shearing sheep and storing the wool. The book Woolsheds of the Wairarapa is to be published in late 2026.
